The history of Turner’s Feed and Seed began in March 1979 when Rainey and Linda Turner purchased what was then called G & G Feeds from Jack Gardner. At the time, the store was located at the corner of Highway 92 and Strickland Street in the heart of historic, downtown Douglasville, in Douglas County, Georgia. In August of that year, Rainey and Linda moved their store to Spring Street in Douglasville where it remained until they purchased a new piece of land 1 ½ miles west of their downtown Douglasville location.
It was in October 1983 that the Turners relocated their business to the current Bright Star Road location. This is now the home of Turner’s Feed and Seed. And, In 2007, Richard & Lisa Turner bought the business from Richard’s father and continued to operate the Turner’s Feed & Seed you know today.
